Amelia Cousins Greenhall. I'm writer and artist. I'm based in Seattle, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest — but I've been doing some long term traveling since May 2023, along with Adam Greenhall.

Adam and I have studio called ANEMONE, which makes books, zines, maps, risograph prints and other projects. ANEMONE also makes Spectrolite, a free Mac desktop app for risograph printing and zine/book making.

I like to spend a lot of time outside: in the mountains (hiking, climbing, scrambling and mountaineering), whitewater kayaking, taking walks, biking.

I'm also very into reading, and typically read several books a week. I am tall, sensitive, and really love pickles, tomatoes and garlic.

This website has a lot of blog posts notes about making projects, and cooking. I love sewing and co-created How to Sew Clothes (Abrams, 2023) as well as many All Well sewing patterns. My favorite things to design and sew are pants, bags and outdoors gear.

Here's what's happening now, and some ideas about the future: the things I've always wanted to make, concepts I'm mulling over, or planned projects. I'm working on a beliefs document, and also maintain a list of things I use as well as things I'm looking for.

Also, if you find we have ideas in common, you're invited to get in touch and introduce yourself.

She/her or they/them.

I would like to acknowledge that I live on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
