Bike Tour Packing List Postcards

I designed these whimsical, useful bike tour packing list post cards for Portland publisher Elly Blue.

The front is an illustration-photo collage, and the back is mostly blank so you can send to a bike camping curious friend, a business owner that helped you out on a trip, your congressperson, or whoever you like.

Get the post cards over at Taking The Lane. These postcards are free for you to use as a reference, send around the world with 32 cent stamps, or redistribute to local coffeeshops, bike shops, or at events.

After working with Elly on an illustration for Taking the Lane #10: Bikes in Space, an anthology of feminist science fiction, we wanted to do another project together, and an old blog post of mine, about a 365 mile bike tour I took through rural Oregon, had just gone viral on the bike touring part of the internet, mostly cycle touring associations. Everyone was interested in the photo I'd posted of my bike tour packing list:

Enjoy, and please feel free to share your packing and postcarding adventures with the hashtag #biketourpackinglist
